Labour Relations Specialist



  • Six month contract
  • Responsibilities will include management of all union interactions, providing subject matter expertise on the interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements, providing policy and legislative interpretations and advice, reviewing evidence in complex cases and working with legal counsel to recommend courses of action, and assisting in the coordination of site workplace planning for bargaining unit positions
  • Degree      or diploma in Human Resources required
  • Five      to ten years of HR experience required in a unionized environment with a      focus on labour relations, including handling grievances and the      arbitration process
  • CHRP      designation preferred
