Job Description

Reporting to the Manager of Legal Services, the In-House Legal Counsel is responsible for providing comprehensive legal consultation, representation and training for the Society and its staff in all matters related to the execution of its mandate under the Child and Family Services Act.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • an LL.B from a recognized University;
  • membership in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada;
  • experience representing children, parents or a Children’s Aid Society in CFSA or Family Law proceedings.

Salary range:              $86,525 - 102,667 based upon relevant experience
